Selection Procedure


Companies have the never-ending task of interviewing, selecting and hiring employees. However, despite the repetitiveness and skill of a company’s human resources department, selecting the right individual for a job is extremely challenging. Making the wrong choice can also be costly and wastage of time and can affects the entire organizational procedure. The employee selection process usually entails notification or advertising, reviewing, screening, interviewing, testing then selecting the best available candidate.

Here, at Oxford International, we generally have three types of selecting procedure:

1. Interview from respective Company
Many employers visit Nepal for final interview. We make all necessary preparations for interview. We call shortlisted candidates for the particular day. We have fully equipped sometime but as per the client (interviewer) demand we take interview in 5 star hotels rooms and other modern facilities-computers, telephones, internet, and all that an interviewer might need.

2. Online Interview
In this type of interview, generally client conduct an interview campaign via social networking i.e. Skype

3. Oxford Operational Team
Sometimes manpower importing company/agencies give fully authority to manpower consultant for entire-selection procedures. In such case, we carry out interviews on behalf of employers abroad and make all dispatching arrangement to the employment destination. We form a selection committee before making a final decision for appointment. The selection committee includes representatives from different departments in the company. The selection committee carries out skill test of all skilled manpower in the concerned discipline. Only those persons recommended by the selection committee are selected for overseas employment.
